Junior Hindi Translator Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a look at the eligibility criteria before applying. Therefore, the detail of eligibility criteria check-below:
- Candidate must have done Master degree with Hindi/ English and in Bachelor degree, Candidate must have English/ Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject.
- Candidates, who have done Bachelor degree with English/ Hindi as the main subject, can also apply.
- Candidates, who have done B.A.(Hons) in Hindi/ English with English/ Hindi as subsidiary/ (Modern Indian Language MIL) subject, are also eligible.
- Maximum age limit is 30 years and age relaxation for Reserve Category will applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee for Junior Hindi Translator Exam
Male candidates of General and OBC Category will pay application fee of Rs. 100/-. No fee for female/ SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Exam Pattern For SSC Junior Hindi Translator Application Form 2017
Exam for Junior Hindi Translator 2017 will consist of two papers i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. paper 1 will be of objective type and Paper 2 will be of the descriptive type.
The duration of 2 hours will be provided to attempt each paper. Paper 1 will include MCQs from two subjects, namely, Hindi and English. 100 questions will be asked from each subject. Total 200 questions contain 200 marks.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for the wrong answer. Paper 2 will be of conventional type. Translations and essay will be asked from English and Hindi language. The duration for Paper II will be 2 hours and total marks will be 200.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be done on the basis of performance in written test and Interview. Performance in descriptive type will be evaluated if the candidate will secure minimum qualifying marks in objective type marks.
