SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardised undergraduate university admission test conducted by College Board for admissions to universities in US and Canada. The exam will now be accepted by more than 20 colleges in India for admissions. The College Board - under it's ‘College Board India Scholars Program’ - will offer SAT scholarships to Indian students. The exam is conducted four times a year in India - October, December, March and May.
The SAT India exam will measure university readiness and predict likely future academic success of a student from India seeking admission to undergraduate programs at various educational institutions in India and abroad. Students will be tested on parameters such as - reading comprehension of words in context, computational ability of command of evidence, and analysis in science and social studies, etc.
